Challenge

Outdated brand needs a fresh look

While CarePICS has developed market-leading technology, the design trend has been changed. The company wanted to refresh its existing elements and web application and create a new brand style guide.

Goal

Brand voice for everyone, unified experience through different channels

Our goal was towards the vision of simple and intuitive functionality for users to create a unified experience.

Process 1.
Branding

During the one-on-one interview, we asked our stakeholders how they would describe the company and the top three adjectives they want to associate with CarePICS.

“Care, Unify, Network”

Early Design Iterations

Based on the company's vision, We started with sketch symbols that represent the CarePICS brand well. The client specifically requested that they want to keep the original logo's essence but work toward an innovative solution.

Color Study

After the color study session, the client agreed blue and green color scheme is an excellent combination for the new look of CarePICS. We had several iterations to finalize which green and blue work the best.

Brand Guideline

After we finalized the new logo lock-up, We created a unified brand style guide that applies across all marketing and product assets, external collateral, web and mobile applications.

Process 2.
Web Platform
Design

The CarePICS web platform's primary user is enterprise providers to effectively manage their patients and records of their wound progress. To understand how the existing platform functions, we had several stakeholder meetings, researched and gathered the web platform's requirements and specifications, and then we took a step into the design process.

Early Design Iterations

We made an effort to figure the main flow of the platform, Consults. The section was the most critical part of the design, where the clinical information is contained for each doctor-patient encounter.

Patient list

Each patient will be listed and viewable on a details page, All associated consults is viewable from Patients.

Consults

In the consult page, doctors can see the patient chart with the detail information about the wound measurement detail, wound photos and the the list of consults.
